Courtney Lipscomb
Licensed Professional Counselor
As a Bowen Family Systems therapist, I am deeply passionate about helping couples and individuals navigate the complex relational processes that shape identity, values, and meaningful connection. My work centers on supporting clients through identifying patterns of functioning that inhibit flourishing, clarifying the role of realistic expectations, and strengthening the capacity to define a self while remaining authentically connected to others. I approach therapy with neutrality, calmness, and emotional safety, creating a space where clients can explore their patterns without judgment, and with a profound respect for their inherent dignity. Guided by Bowen’s approach to differentiation and systems thinking, I help clients understand how multigenerational influences shape present functioning and future choices. For clients who desire it, I am also trained in the thoughtful integration of Christianity, ensuring that spiritual beliefs and practices are respected and incorporated in ways that honor each client’s wishes, needs, and personal dignity.
